Me & Zukotino
Ever since I was a little girl I knew I wanted to work in fashion. Whether that had been design, modelling, or styling, I didn’t care – I just wanted part in it. This was definitely half triggered by my mom who had a knack for sewing. Her second job was a Blythe Doll clothing brand she ran called “Blythe By Betty”. At 13 she taught me how to sew. I learned the basics, and then continued on with my education. After graduating high school in 2020 I went straight into Business at the University of Manitoba where I quickly realized I didn’t belong. I dropped out in 2022 to pursue my original dream of designing.
Over the past three years I’ve learned ample. I re-taught myself how to sew through books & YouTube. I completed a pattern drafting course at Red River College. I started two clothing brands. I began taking photos, & getting my photos taken. I expanded my style, & overall found myself. Check out everything I’ve done here!
